May 2009
today i went kayaking for the first time in my life with philup, arlene, brian, mikey, and juliette. it was amaaaziiiing. a must for everybody. it’s so much fun… and strangely tiring. i only say strangely because i wasn’t tired while i was out there rowing, but i was tired when i got out of the kayak. i think it was the sun? *shrug.
anyway, afterwards, we went to yardhouse for...
i don’t like staying up late/going to bed early then waking up at this hour because nobody’s awake. now i can’t sleep.
i hate stupid fmls.
a fly flew in my ear just now. fml.
Enjoy the present.
harmoneyes:
I don’t know where we’re going, I know where we’ve been, and I like where we are now.
i don’t think it counts as vacation after you graduate…
campo who are you
i love little kids
..especially when they’re just growing up and they sound like they have speech impediments.
So my three-year-old nephew is IN LOVE with Thomas the train and all of his train friends, and apparently there is this particular one called Percy. He hasn’t really developed his speech skills too well, and it’s unfortunate whenever he loses his toy because he runs around the house...
things I will stay from
-Lactose (milkstuff, butter, ice-cream, yogurt, chocolate, etc.)
-Rage (this does not include the entire Weho area, but I’d rather go elsewhere. Sorry gays. The only reason that I will go there is if somebody dies.)
…and lastly and most surprisingly….
-Korean bbq (yep, you heard me.)
As of yesterday Saturday, May 9th, 2009, at 11:45am, I am an Otis alumni. I got the tassle and everything… except for the diploma. I’m so glad that I’m done with it and never have to go back again! Unfortunately the show is still up and we’re tearing it down tomorrow and Tuesday.
Now it’s time to get back in shape! I’m going to start jogging in the mornings and...
to those who weren't able to make it to my show...
here is my part in the bfa show in slideshow photo form. it was before we installed the spotlights and cleaned the floors though.
s-u-c-c-e-s-s that's the way you spell success!
Yay the opening reception went super well, although super stressful and tiring running around and trying to attend to everybody. Thanks SO MUCH to everybody who was able to make it, and to all the well wishers who weren’t able to make it. Really, without you guys, I wouldn’t be doing this. …because I probably draw you.
lol <3

WISH ME LUCK!
Today is the VIP opening reception of the show — which means all the rich folks who want to buy stuff are going to take a look at all of the artwork. Hopefully they’re interested in some of the things I’ve been working on.. and/or my mentor pimps me out to work for them. Eeeeexcitements! Otis is also giving us dinner, but it’s most likely it’s going to be italian food...

james graduates may 9th
I feel so out of shape. Rushing to work with a burger in one hand and a medium soda in the other is not helping at all. Oh well; one more week and I’m FREE!
